Welcome to our latest Employee

Firstly, we are pleased to welcome Carey Smoak to S-cubed, as Principal Consultant for our growing CDISC team, in Copenhagen. Carey has more than 30 years of SAS programming experience and is co-founder and co-leader of the CDISC Device Team which has developed 7 new SDTM domains for Medical Devices.


At the end of 2017, we had a number of staff out at a variety of events, including various Regulatory conferences and meetings. Johannes Ulander presented at the PhUSE SDE in Belgium and you can read more about his presentation on Linked Data and Graph Data bases on the A3 Informatics website, where you can also download his slides.

In 2018, S-cubed will be exhibiting and presenting at various events across Europe and venturing into the USA:

4th – 6th March: Dave Iberson-Hurst of A3 Informatics and Johannes Ulander will be at the PhUSE CSS Meeting. Johannes will be taking part in the Linked Data for Clinical Trails: An Interactive, Hands on Workshop. If you have questions about the work that A3 Informatics are doing and want an update, please get in touch and we will arrange a meeting for you.

Towards the end of March, Stephen Thompson, Regulatory Affairs Director, will be visiting the west coast of the USA, to meet with clients and update them on the latest news from EMA and MHRA.

23rd – 27th April: The S-cubed CDISC Team will be at the CDISC European Interchange in Berlin and we’d love to meet you all at our booth.

24th – 25th April: Darren Jolliffe will be attending the BioTrinity 2018 Conference and would be keen to meet clients and potential new clients for one-to-one meetings. Please get in touch with our UK Biometrics team, if you are interested.

3rd – 6th June: We are planning to exhibit and present at the inaugural PhUSE US Connect Conference in Raleigh, NC. Please drop by our booth and talk to us about the services we can offer.

In September, we are looking forward to welcoming Regulator Affairs professionals to our new offices in Boston House, where we will be hosting our clients for an update from EMA and MHRA led by our team of experts in Wantage. If you think you would like to attend, please get in touch.

4th – 7th November: We will return the PhUSE EU Connect Conference, in Frankfurt and we will publish more details closer to the event.
