With our regulatory, CDISC, and Biometrics teams appearing at various events over the next few months, make sure you contact us to make an appointment to meet our experts.

Events and Meetings

We can help you with all aspects of the clinical trials process; come and talk to us at an event or arrange a meeting.

Regulatory

Stephen Thompson, our Regulatory Director, is travelling to the west coast of the USA on 19th March to meet established and new clients. He will be travelling from San Francisco through Los Angeles and onto San Diego. He will be presenting at the San Diego Regulatory Affairs Network (SDRAN) on 28th March, speaking on ‘The European Regulatory Landscape: What You Need to Know’. If you are in the area and would like to catch up with Stephen, please contact us as soon as possible.

CDISC

Our expertise in CDISC Standards will be showcased at the CDISC European Interchange in Berlin, 25th – 26th April. We have been working with CDISC since our inception and our team are knowledgeable and experts at ensuring your data is ready for submission. We are also Registered Solutions Providers and Authorised CDISC Trainers, so when you have questions about CDISC, be sure to contact us. Details of the CDISC European Interchange programme are here. On the booth will be Johannes Ulander, who is speaking on Thursday during Session 6 at 1100 – 1200 in Track B, Utilising CDISC. Always one to challenge the way that we work, Johannes’s presentation on ‘Where did my Terminology Go?’ will consider the way we are using Controlled Terminology and how we, as an industry maintain consistency when updates are regularly announced. Dave Iberson-Hurst from our sister company A3 Informatics, will be speaking on Wednesday at 14:00 – 15:30 in Session 3 Track B on eSource. Dave has been talking about an ‘end to end’ solution for data for over 10 years. It seems that with the advent of HL7 FHIR, we may be on the verge of a solution. Go along to his session, ‘Into the FHIR, CDISC & FHIR’ to find out about the future of clinical data. Our newest team member, Carey Smoak, will join us for the first time and his poster ‘A Critique of the Use of Medical Device SDTM Domains in Therapeutic Area User Guides’ will be on display. Carey brings a tremendous amount of devices expertise to S-cubed, having been Co-Founder and Leader of the CDISC Medical Devices Team. Additionally, Kirsten Langendorf will be available on the booth to answer any questions you have about CDISC implementation and how S-cubed can help you develop and improve your processes.
